Yaquina Art Gallery Spotlight features Michael Carr, nature photography, and Cassandra Brandt, watercolors and ceramics, June 24 – July 7, 2023
Michael Carr, nature photographer, and Cassandra Brandt, watercolor/ceramics will share a two week spotlight show at the Yaquina Art Association Gallery, opening this Saturday, June 24.
Carr creates stunning nature based photographic images. He was been a photographer for over 42 years. His work features scenery and wildlife in their nature environments. His work has been shown in hundreds of newspapers and magazines.
Cassandra Brandt creates engaging nature themed images on ceramic surfaces and watercolors. Her work reflects a sense of fun and her attraction to natural objects she can personally interact with, including crabs and birds on the wing.
Both artists live full-time in Lincoln County.
The Yaquina Art Association Gallery is located in Nye Beach at 789 NW Beach Drive. Hours of operation are 11 am to 5 pm every day.
