The Yaquina Art Association will be featuring the artwork of Ginger Raia and Neal Clement from April 13th to April 26th
In a two week Wall Spotlight Show from April 13th to April 26th, the Yaquina Art Association will be featuring the artwork of Ginger Raia and Neal Clement. The Yaquina Art Association Gallery is located in Nye Beach at 789 NW Beach Drive. Hours of operation are 11 am to 4 pm every day.
Ginger Raia has traveled and lived in many different places which broadened her personal senses as well as her artistic senses. She will have many new paintings on display at this show. Ginger also sculpts, and will have new pieces of sculpture to show. Art has been a major part of her love of life, and she can’t imagine life without it. Ginger doesn’t paint or sculpt in just one style, and just loves to experience many art forms and styles. This show will be her newest work and she is so excited to share it all with you. Her sculptures are very whimsical and playful. She doesn’t have photos of her sculptures, but promises that they will be great fun to view.
Neal Clement spent his younger years in Franksville, NY, and then went on to drafting as a profession. He moved to Erie, PA for a while and then back to New York State where he found his love of carving while working at the Ontario Knife Company.
Neal moved to Oregon in 1976 and worked in social services for a time, and then started to work on his wood carving full time. He carves with cedar shakes, split cedar, and posts.
He joined the Yaquina Art Association last year, and this will be his first Spotlight show displaying his carvings, paintings, and necklaces.
