Yaquina Art Gallery Wall Spotlight Show featuring the artwork of Marsha Christian and JoAnn Campbell–November 10th to November 23rd
In a two week Wall Spotlight Show from November 10th to November 23rd, the Yaquina Art Association will be featuring the artwork of glass artist Marsha Christian and watercolor artist JoAnn Campbell. The Yaquina Art Association Gallery is located in Nye Beach at 789 NW Beach Drive. Hours of operation are 11 am to 4 pm every day.
Marsha Christian has worked with stained glass about thirty five years now. Her interest began when she wanted to find a hobby that would give her son something to do with his time. He made one piece, but Marsha discovered that she couldn’t stop at just one glass project. That is where her passion for glass started and remains strong today. She loves working with glass and when it just comes alive before her eyes. It brings her joy to see people’s reactions to a finished piece.
Marsha has also found a new love for jewelry. She is drawn to precious stones and all that you can make with them. She especially loves combining the stones with glass beads and creating one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry.
Jo Ann Campbell is originally from New Jersey. She retired from a Nuclear Power Generating Station located in New Jersey. After retirement she lived in Arizona for number of years.
