Diana Pérez- Moya grew up in Bogotá, Colombia and moved to Oregon in 1999 bringing with her the love for color and shine.
When she was 13, she fell in love with color and art while taking oil classes with the well – known Spanish painter Pepe Garcia.
She studied different art mediums at the Universidad de Los Andes, Casa Fabricato and Arturo Tejada Cano Fashion School in Bogotá.
Soon after arriving in Newport she took classes with ceramic artist Janet Wallace and drawing classes at YAA. She continues exploring new techniques and materials to further her artisan work.
She is sharing the fun of color by drawing mermaids, cats, your pet portrait and more for you or your friends and kids to color and frame.
She is interested in up-cycling and giving old things a new purpose as you will see in her oyster painted shells and conks.
Her show will include collages, jewelry boxes, hand painted glass and rocks, wind-chimes-shells, ceramic, pyrography, knives, jewelry, and one of the kind Mother’s Day cards.
