Linda Cline featured Artisan at YAA
Be “wowed” with the jewelry from Linda Cline in a two week Artisan spotlight show at the Yaquina Art Association gallery in Newport. Her show will be from July 2-15th at 789 NW Beach Dr. in Newport (open from 11-5m daily).
Linda Cline has a knack for combining beautiful jewels into colorful and artistic jewelry. She says, “I’ve moved away from being a hobbyist into being a career bead artist. I have been blessed to be a wholesale vendor with Made in Oregon’s 10 stores for the past 3 years. One accomplishment I’m proud of is for the past 10 years I have been one of the selected art vendors at Newport’s annual Seafood and Wine Festival . I’ve done jewelry home parties and fund raisers for a variety of groups. I’ve taught classes on jewelry making at several locations. I have also been a vendor at a variety of other seafood and wine shows and craft shows along the coast as well as in the Willamette Valley and Portland and Washington.
Her business has grown from just 1 farmers market to three now: Newport, Lincoln City, and Glen Eden Beach Harvest Market. Her jewelry is displayed in the Pacific Artists Alliance Artists Co Op Gallery in Lincoln City as well.
The gallery in Nye Beach also offers cards, handmade items, framed and unframed artwork all made by local artists. The Yaquina Art Association offers free art classes. Stop by the gallery to get a list of classes.
