YAA Spotlights Painting Artists Patti Johnson and Jo Ann Campbell
March 19-April 1, 2016 the Yaquina Art Association will spotlight two painters at the gallery located at 789 NW Beach Drive in Newport Oregon. Artists Patti Johnson and Jo Ann Campbell will be showing their paintings on the center spotlight walls from 11 am to 4 pm daily.
Patti Johnson loves painting in all kinds of mediums. She has studied with Carmen Dean at the Yaquina Art Classes at the Visual Art Center and loves China painting that Carmen teaches each week on Tuesday afternoon. Patti helps painters of all levels during the Oil and Acrylic class the same day from 9:00 to !1:00. Patti has been painting for 40 years, and loves to paint whatever she decides is beautiful. Portraits are a favorite that she does by commission. A person can pose in real life or submit a photo for her to copy. Her fees start at $350.00 for a 16′ x20 oil portrait.
Jo Ann Campbell is originally from New Jersey. She retired from a nuclear power generating station located there. After retirement she lived in Arizona for a number of years. Always full of adventure, Jo Ann and her husband left Arizona and traveled about the country in a motor home ending up in Newport in 2002. Jo Ann enjoys gardening, traveling, genealogy, crafts and her tries her hand at watercolor painting. Jo Ann is a member of Yaquina Art Association and also the Yachats Art Guild.
