People’s Choice Award Winner featured in YAA Spotlight Show
The spotlight show of Pam Parker’s work will showcase watercolors, painting on glass, and pyrography at the Yaquina Art Gallery from Sept. 2 to Sept. 18.
Pam Parker enjoys watching the light in nature and her watercolors reflect this fascination.
Pam has a minor in art history, has taken a variety of watercolor classes, is self-taught in pyrography, and is a retired teacher. She received the People’s Choice Award in the Watercolor Society of Oregon Spring Show. She teaches art classes on an occasional basis in Newport, Lincoln City, and Florence.
Her work can be seen in Newport, Lincoln City, Florence, and Reedsport.
The Yaquina Art Association Gallery is located at 789 NW Beach Drive in Newport, open from 11:00am to 5:00pm daily.
