Artisan Spotlight at YAA is Clay artist, Sally Morris
April 25-May 8 Artisan, Sally Morris will show her art in a two week spotlight at the Yaquina Art Association Gallery in Nye Beach. Sally will be showing ceramics as well as her latest art in China Painting. Many of her pieces are inspired by a recent trip to the Holy Land last January. Sally has been doing ceramics for the past 4 years through classes at YAA. She enjoys traveling and her trip to Israel inspired paintings as well as her new ceramic pieces. Sally recently started classes in China Painting with the YAA and will be showing some of her new artwork on pedestals in the gallery open from 11 am to 4 pm daily. Sally moved to Waldport 11 years ago from San Diego and before that lived in Washington State. Others interested in learning China Painting can attend the classes offered through the Yaquina Art Association on Tuesdays from 2 to 3:30 pm in the upstairs classroom of the Visual Art Center.
