The Yaquina Art Association Photographers (YAAP) spotlight show from March 8 to March 21, 2014
The Yaquina Art Association Photographers (YAAP) will have a two week spotlight show in the YAA Gallery from March 8 to March 21, 2014. The show will be open from 11 am to 4 pm daily at 789 NW Beach Drive in the Nye Beach Turnaround in Newport, Oregon.
The photographers meet on the first and third Mondays in the upstairs classroom in the Visual Art Center at 7:00 pm. Their focus is to provide an outlet for sharing and learning. They have first Monday programs featuring guest speakers. On the third Monday of each month they have a digital and print competition where the top images go on to the Columbia Council of Camera Clubs for a chance to win awards. There is an emphasis on submitting one digital image to have an anonymous critique in order to improve photography skills.
