14th Annual Juried Art Show Artists Opening Reception
There will be an artist’s reception with refreshments on Friday, October 2nd from 5-7 pm at the Yaquina Art Association Gallery in Nye Beach. The public is invited to view artwork that was juried into the YAA 14th Annual Art Exhibit which will run October 1 through October 31st the Yaquina Art Association Gallery. At the opening reception hundreds of dollars worth of prize money will be awarded totaling $1600 presented to winning entries.
Earlier, Juror Charlene Wilson from Florence Oregon will be making her choices of the award winners with prizes of $700 for first place, $500 for second place, and $200 for third place. There will be a Mayors Choice award of $100 that will be revealed at the reception and a People’s Choice award can be voted on until the end of the show for $100 as well.
Art can be viewed and purchased at the Yaquina Art Association Gallery at 789 NW Beach Drive in Newport, Oregon. The gallery is open daily from 11 am to 4 pm.
