YAA Arts and Crafts Sale
The Yaquina Art Association will be holding its annual fund raiser for scholarship money that goes to support and promote the arts in our area. The sale will be at the Visual Art Center from March 28-March 30, 2014. The sale will be from 10 am to 5 pm and is located in the yellow building in the Nye Beach Turnaround in Newport, Oregon.
Many artists have signed up for wall space in the Runyan gallery and will have framed and unframed art for sale as well as doing demonstrations of their artwork. Upstairs in the classroom area artists have signed up for table space to sell smaller art and crafts.
The public is invited to enjoy delicious homemade pies, cookies, and brownies as well as hotdogs, chips, chili, potato salad and coffee. They are also invited to participate in a make and take art project suitable for the young and young at heart of melted crayon prints.
