2013 YAA Juried Show of Photography: Call for Entries!
The Yaquina Art Association is pleased to announce the 2013 Juried Show of Photography. Open to participants from throughout the Pacific Northwest, the event seeks to recognize the outstanding quality and diversity of work being produced by many talented photographers in the region. The Exhibition will be held from November 1-30, 2013 at the Yaquina Art Gallery in Newport, Oregon. Deadline for entry is September 15, 2013. A non-refundable $10 entry fee will be charged for each entry up to 4 total entries. Submit an online application and digital images for acceptance at www.yaquinaart.org/show2013.
The 2013 Juried Show of Photography is open to all U.S. resident photographers 18 years old and over. You are invited to submit up to 4 digital images of your original works completed in the past three years. The competition is open to all photographic techniques and processes. The online entry deadline is Sunday, September 15 and all entries need to be juried in digitally.
A total of 5 cash prizes will be given, including a $700 Best of Show Award, $500 First Place, and $200 Second Place prize. In addition, $100 Mayor’s Award and People’s Choice Award will be awarded.
The Yaquina Art Association is a community based non-profit art organization whose primary purpose is to provide art education and promote appreciation of the arts, and has been a steady artistic and educational influence in the Lincoln County area since 1947.
