Yaquina Art Association Photographers Show

There will be a month long show in April featuring the photography of up to 20 different photographers from the Yaquina Art Association Photographers. The show will run from April 3 – April 28th, 2013 in the Runyan gallery at the Visual Art Center on 777 NW Beach Drive in Nye Beach. The gallery is open daily from 11 am to 4 pm. The month long show will feature many award winning images, as the group participates in the Columbia Council of Camera Clubs (4C’s) in both the digital and in the print division for competitions.

There will be an artists opening reception held in the Visual Art Center on the evening of April 5th from 5-7 pm with refreshments served. The reception will be a chance for the public to meet the photographers. The photographers meet twice a month on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7 pm in the upstairs classroom of the Visual Art Center. Visitors are welcome to the meetings and the class begins with a question and answer period, followed by photography sharing. The theme for this month is “Shadows” and artists are invited to bring images with that theme to our meeting in April.
