Clay or painting? Beginner or advanced? The Yaquina Art Association has a class for you! We’ve been dedicated to making art education fun and accessible to everyone. All of the classes are free to attend and open to anyone who has an interest in arts.
All of our classes are currently offered on a walk-in basis (no registration required). Seats will be filled on a first-come, space available basis.
We offer classes in a wide range of media including:
- Watercolor
- Oil/Acrylic
- Pastels
- China Painting & Clay
- Photography
All classes are held the First Baptist Church Classroom located at 224 NW 6th Newport.
YAA Photographers Group
The YAA Photographers Group meets at 7pm on the first and third Mondays each month at the Newport Library classroom *. Find out more about the group at www.yaaphotographers.org.

Photography 7:00pm – 8:30pm*

Oil & Acrylics 9:00am – 12:00pm
Pastels 1:00pm – 3:00pm (None 2nd week)
