YAQUINA ART ASSOCIATION ARTIST SHOW Kate Baker August 24 – September 6, 2024
I was born and raised in Seattle, lived over 30 years in the Portland Area and a few years in between in Lincoln City. I returned to Newport about two years ago to switch gears a bit in life, be closer to family, and make more time for art.
I have been a professional Chef for the last 20+ years
I am currently working in fused glass and have worked in and am interested in learning more about many other mediums including wirework jewelry, ceramics, textiles, Polymer clay, Candle making, Watercolor, and Acrylic painting. Art is a life enriching experience and I feel my best when I am able to do something creative. Hopefully it makes others happy as well.
