Yaquina Art Gallery Pedestal Spotlight Show featuring the fiber art of Robin Adcock – July 13th to July 26th
In a two week Pedestal Spotlight Show from July 13th to July 26th, the Yaquina Art Association will be featuring the fiber art of Robin Adcock. The Yaquina Art Association Gallery is located in Nye Beach at 789 NW Beach Drive. Hours of operation are 11 am to 5 pm every day. Robin Adcock says, “When I sew I am in my happy place”. A happy memory of hers is when her Grandma gave Robin her first sewing machine when she was eight years old. She has always marveled at the amazing quilts that her Mother made for everyone in the family.
Robin collects fabric whenever she travels. She is currently working on totes, small purses, aprons and hobo bags with fabric from Maui, Missouri and Arizona. She finds that it is very rewarding to blend fabrics with patterns to achieve a colorful, purposeful item.
