Yaquina Art Gallery Wall Spotlight Show featuring the artwork of John Bradley and Luella Hartwell – July 6th to July 19th

YAA Spotlight

In a two week Wall Spotlight Show from July 6th to July 19th, the Yaquina Art Association will be featuring the artwork of John Bradley and Luella Hartwell. The Yaquina Art Association Gallery is located in Nye Beach at 789 NW Beach Drive. Hours of operation are 11 am to 5 pm every day. John Bradley is a master watercolorist, with very well developed techniques for depicting nature’s many beautiful places.  We are honored to have to have John show his skills and for continuing to produce wonderful work at the age of 98.  He is a member of Yaquina Art Association, and continues to teach classes as well as producing beautiful art.  He began his art career after retiring from the dental profession. Living in Waldport with a lovely ocean view has inspired many wonderful seascapes.

Capturing a wave, a flower’s beauty, rustic barns from Oregon’s back roads, the many colors of tide pools, the peacefulness of forest roads, has been a quest and passion for Luella Hartwell. She uses pastel, acrylic, ink and watercolor to depict and preserve the beauty she encounters and enjoys.  Living in Seal Rock for the past 22 years, and being a member of Yaquina Art Association have provided: education, wonderful friendships, and an unending source of inspiration.
