Michaeline McDonald will be shaping unique wire wrapped jewelry in a two week artisan spotlight show
Michaeline McDonald will be shaping unique wire wrapped jewelry in a two week artisan spotlight show in Newport, Oregon from September 24th to October 7th. The gallery is open from 11-4 pm daily at the Yaquina Art Association Gallery.
Michaeline is a local artist residing in Depoe Bay. Her wire wrapped beach glass seahorses were inspired by seahorses of course and the magic of the ocean. She has been gathering beach glass along the beautiful Oregon beaches for about ten years. She uses the pretty pieces of glass to make these seahorse pendants. Each seahorse is unique, no two are the same. She meticulously hand wraps each one and adds glass beads, semi-precious stones, crystals, and a little hand drilled shell for the fin. You can see more of her seahorses at www.wisetailsart.com and can purchase this little “Admiral Blue” seahorse pendant at the Yaquina Art Gallery in Newport, Oregon.
