Yaquina Art Association Pastel Artists are Spotlighted
Feb. 6-Feb. 19, 2016 there will be a public spotlight show featuring the work of talented pastel artists at the Yaquina Art Association Gallery at 789 NW Beach Drive in Nye Beach. The show will feature work by students in the YAA pastel class that meet on Thurs. mornings from 10 am to 12 noon. The show is open from 11 am to 4 pm daily.
Pastel Classes range from 5 dedicated students up to 8 or more attending occasionally. ‘It’s a lightly structured class that attempts to bring back the carefree fun we all had while just simply drawing when we were kids, ” says instructor Charlotte Carter. Anyone is welcome so stop by and check out the free classes offered to the community.
